We arrived in Bonn a few hours ago. The flight went very smoothly...except that one of our pieces of luggage was lost. Actually, it worked out quite well since there was no way that we could have carried the extra bag.
For all you fish lovers: The local supermarket offers a Matyas Herring sandwich (topped with raw onions) for only $1.50. Photos to follow.

Hey David, now we're talkin'!
Maybe while you're there we can start a herring import/export business together. Free tasting for your dad (and mine).
Good luck in Deutschland and while your learning the language can you find out what the connection between the hungarian VISZONTLÁTÁSRA and Aufwiedersehen have in common? Is it from the Austro-Hungarian empire days?
We were thinking of you this past weekend in Monsey...my mother-in-law bought some Liver Blintzes for everyone to eat friday night as an appetizer. Good Stuff. (Regards to Danielle)
